Hi Skalley: Thanks for this site. I went there and found it to be good. I saved it to my favorite places. Also, while I am not a 'featured' writer or contributer, if you go to Freeminds.org directly or through the site you gave us you will find an article I wrote about helping your children out of the organization and to think for themselves. It is under the sunburst bullets called, "Letting your kids make their own decision". The actual title when you click on it is, How I helped my Family Leave Jehovah's WItnesses." I guess that is fits in with the theme of escaping the Watchtower religion. Thanks again. - Amazing

I'm glad you told us that the article "How I helped my Family Leave Jehovah's Witnesses" was written by you.
I came across that article over a month ago and saved it to my favourites.
I thought that your reasoning with your family was an excellent way to help them to see for themselves what falsehoods and inconsistences are in the WTS teachings, publications and attitudes. Even though a Bethelite said a week ago, "they don't have rules, just have principles", we all know what a lie that is.
I appreciate so much they way you handled the situation because we all know what happens to JWs when someone tries to tell them what is wrong....they close their ears and their minds...all truth and sensiblilty is lost..sometimes for good.
I also have suggested the web address to your article in several postings I made here, to ones who were seeking help on how to talk to their loved ones. So now I am glad to know that was your story. It is helping me to try to prepare for the times I may be able to talk to my family.
