Whether the 90 to 98 billion dollars (partial or grant) that will be spent to 'rebuild' Iraq, will this include rebuilding the ancient Tower of Babel as a monument? Symbolism play a major role in ancient cultures. The Bible has cursed the rebuilding of the Tower. OK, no one say, it meant the Watch -Tower.

Babylon was already excavated and restored by Saddam as a special project. During the restoration all the right-wing nut-job whackos were pitching a fit saying that it was going to cause the end of the world. Well, the project went along with no problem and we are all still here.
There have been countless thousands of people who predicted the end of the world... and they all have one thing in common... they were all wrong.

My interest was the building of Tower of Babel. The WTC is slowly being rebuilt and the main building will have an X amount of empty floors to stand as a monument of the Sept. 11 carnage.
