  So a legal precedent has now been set in Australia for all high ranking officials who did not report child abuse to police.

  Watch out Branch committed and local Elders! You may be next!

  It’s apparent you didn’t read the article. The boys reported it to him directly. Branch members don’t take reports directly from victims — local elders do.

  So basically, local elders would be subject to conviction for not reporting abuse to police. There is no equivalence here, local elders are not “high-ranking” and there certainly is no “precedent”.

  The Eldubs get their orders hierarchy and that’s all there is to it. The ARC wasn’t fooled. The public won’t be fooled as time passes. Sooner or later the layers of the WTBTS hierarchy will fail.
