Hi Nathan! When I had parts on the program we were told never to use the word "FREE".

Example:You would not say to the general public"The Literature is,'free',however if you would like to make a 'contribution' we would gladly accept."

Now it seems that they want to fill the seats by saying "More than 2,000 are EXPECTED.So, you better get here while seats are available and FREE! don't pay attention to those obvious BIG boxes with the word CONTRIBUTIONS.

Hey, you gotta give them some credit... it's certainly not unheard of for religious rallies at stadiums to charge admission. At least with the dubs, no one's required to pay if they can't afford to. (I know they might still be guilted into it, but that's another story.)

Anyway, I really just came into the thread to laugh at a "JW Ass Day." Isn't that everyday?

Yeah, but even when the stadiums give out "free parking" for the rentee's.......the tight rentee dub bastards charge the faithful for the parking! Those tight heathen arsebites get ya one way or the other.

No collections are taken but in the afternoon part of the program there's always the dreaded expense report part. How much money was collected, what the expenses for the hall is, and what the difference is, dig dip in the pockets brothers, this spirtual food aint free!

I remember a District Overseer telling us one year at a circuit assembly that instead of buying food at local stores and resturants buy our junk so that expenses could be paid for. I even remember one year JR Brown almost crying when he observed brothers eating chicken in their cars and throwing the bones on the street!

Isn't it funny, titles like District Overseer, Circuit Overseer, Presiding Overseer. It all seems like Chinese communist villages.

Titles like District Overseer, Circuit Overseer, Presiding Overseer don't sound like a Chinese Village --- they sound like an American plantation mentality. Yes Sirrah .
