British Week on CBC / Movie

  On our national channel we had "British Week" last month, a dedication to British programs and movies that we are subjected to anyhow. Personally I am addicted to Coronation Street, got stuck into watching it on Sunday mornings when I stopped going to meeting. But we do get alot of movies on CBC as well as on other channels but they showed one movie that I thought was really great called Billy Elliot what an awesome movie.

  I have always loved foreign films for there purity and portrail of reality.

  Billy Elliot was very real, I enjoyed the ending particularly.

  Billy Elliot was a great movie.

  Beans.........It was filmed not far from where Gadget lives in the north east.

  Was it the first or second miners strike in the film Eman? I was on strike for nearly a year in the second one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
