witty and so true.
this past Haloween was the first for our kids.When they asked us how are we going to do it we said- just go and have fun.And they did.After a few doors they were grining from ear to ear and one of them said:this is fun, let`s go to another door. And for us grownups it was wonderful time to meet and chat with our neighbours and to feel as a part of community and not like a self -righteous hermits. Truly an experience that you cannot buy in the store.

Good point about getting to know your nieghbors. This phrase was sometimes used in wt speeches as they were decrying the lack of caring in society in general. Halloween is an excellent activity for that. Far be it from most dubs to spend time getting to know their nieghbors ('associating') without pushing their religion or setting it up so they could.
