The WT here assumes the presence of Satan in the mix, though the Bible makes no mention of it.
Interesting, isn't it, that the wicked worldly ruler orders the death of all Hebrew male babies, evoking the same event described in Genesis.
Herod's action is not recorded in secular history; the numbers of those slain vary from 300 to 144,000, consistent with the process around myth building.
Safe to say that both are myth, and did not happen.

And this magnificent, loving Almighty God placed his children in the territory of this roaring lion and didn't even warn them. Would a loving parent do the same ?
And this lion is still on the loose, even after 6000 years, in order for the loving Almighty god to prove a point!! . Really wondering how I swallowed this non-sense.
We can't even count on the angels to help us out because they have to keep Jehovah's chariot detailed. Oh but god has given us weapons to defeat this lion. We only have to wave the Watchtower and Awake magazines in his face to make him cower.
Of course Jehovah showed how much he likes children by destroying them all in a flood. Thankfully, this was just a crazy story rather than a real event.

One thing is "for sure." The WTBorg Cult Inc. does have a keen understanding of the Job of Satan. But then, it figures. After all, the WTBorg Cult Inc. is aiding Satan as he goes about his work of lying, deceiving and hurting people.
They're doing a "splendid" job of it too.
