Just hearing about this now.
Mike Rinder has died.
He was a lifelong Scientologist who broke away from the organization and became one of its biggest detractors.
Rest in peace, Mike! Thanks for what you did to expose cults.

Yes I heard about this a few days back. I can only echo iloowy.goowy's sentiments, rest in peace.....Mike will always be remembered with gratitude by all victims of coercive religious groups.

Yes, I remember seeing him on that one special.
I remember him describing his actual ‘escape’ from the religion and it made an impression on me and sounded frightening. May he Rest in Peace.

Mike Rinder was an important member of the (informal) worldwide anti-cult movement. His work alongside Leah Remini was EPIC.
