If you repeat a lie often enough, many will accept it as truth. The org successfully employs this strategy by regurgitating previous Watchtower articles into bite-size chunks, and presenting it as a "spiritual starter" to the day for the faithful to swallow.

    Text for 27 August 2016

Symeon [Peter] has related thoroughly how God for the first time turned his attention to the nations to take out of them a people for his name.—Acts 15:14. "At a meeting of the (a) governing body of first-century Christians held in 49 C.E., the disciple James stated the above. This new people bearing (b) Jehovah’s name would include both Jewish and non-Jewish believers. (Rom. 11:25, 26a) Later, Peter wrote: c) "You were once not a people, but now you are God’s people." Peter outlined their mission by stating: (d) "You are ‘a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for special possession, that (e) you should declare abroad the excellencies of the One who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light." (1 Pet. 2:9,10) (f) They were to sound forth the praises of the One (g) they represented and publicly glorify his name. (h) They were to be courageous (i) witnesses for Jehovah, the Universal Sovereign, "to the most distant part of the earth."—Acts 1:8; Col. 1:23. w14 11/15 5:6, 7

    a) No such term even hinted at in the Bible,

    b) No. People were to bear Christ's name - Acts 11:26.

c), d), e), f), g), h) are all (according to J.W.'s) the so-called "anointed class". Accepting the org's interpretation, only these ones can be "God's people" and the preaching work must logically then be their work - no one else's.

    i) False. 28 verses command Christians to witness for Christ. Not one scripture tells Christians to witness for God! (Acts 1:8)

It's been regurgitated from the Watchtower 2014 9/15 which identifies this group as the anointed ones and the final paragraph states

<<If we want to be protected during the great tribulation, we must accept that God has a people on earth today and that he has organized them into congregations. We must take sides with Jehovah’s people and stay close to our local congregation. Just like the psalmist, may we say with all our heart: “Salvation belongs to Jehovah. Your blessing is upon your people.”Psalm 3:8.>>

The so called 'anointed' have become mediators and replaced Jesus. They use Psalm 3:8 to explain that the 'other sheep' must stay in their organized local congregations because God's blessing is upon his anointed. The anointed are not even credited with organizing JWs into their individual congregations, they say God has done this but in reality this has only happened through the final authority of the Governing Body.

LOL, by extension, the "people" now include non-anointed J.W.'s.

Why? Because they've got to be included in the recruitment work which the org (out of the other side of its mouth) claims was given to their elite section of Christianity - the 144,000!

One lie spawns other lies. They never learn.
