Thanks for that. It really seems as though the org equates progress with shiny new statement buildings. Increase is no longer anything to brag about in fact its positively toe-curling to see someone give a baptism talk to himself the absence of converts.
Young people no longer want the drudgery of countless hours of door knocking trying to persuade people who are at best uninterested but often hostile as they become better informed.
So the clear-skinned gullible young are sucked into being part of this property building empire. They gain camaraderie and a misplaced sense of purpose whilst they add to the stock of award winning real estate built to manage a stagnant field.
That seems to be the only measure of progress.

This wonderful project to fulfil the needs of Jehovah's wonderfully expanding org seems to be taking a bloody long time ! maybe those "needs" are not so pressing.
But they may now need to speed things up, as no doubt leaving the E.U will mean their existing Properties may well go down in value !
