This looks interesting!! A modern take on Orwell's classic 1984.

We all have found the comparison of Orwell's book to Witness life to be fascinating, so this could be a great play to see!

Perhaps it is touring in other locations worldwide too?

I absolutely loved the book, hated the movie, but I'd be open to the play if it came my way.

    dubstepped,

I absolutely loved the book, hated the movie...

There were two different 1984 movies that I recall. Maybe you'll like the other one.

Thanks VI, I didn't know that there was another one. I bought the most recent version and hated it, but now that you mentioned another version I looked it up and found the old black and white movie for free on Youtube. I'll have to give it a try.

Even the "old" movie had two different endings if I remember correctly.

The 1984 version with Edmond O-Brien ,Michael Redgrave ,Jan Sterling and Donald Pleasance. 1956

Their have been a number of movies with alternate endings and this was one of them.

Often times though the book is always better than the movie .

1984 jumped to number 1 on Amazon's bestseller list as of last week. Its not hard to guess why.
