Does anyone really look at England and the United States as a duel world power? America alone is THE world power. You can lump England in with other counties like France and Germany. And as far as this big bad king of the North. Russia talks a good game. But China blows them away in military and economic strength. So how could any reasonable person buy into the watchtower's belief on world events today?

By "England" I take it you mean the United Kingdom.We here have not really been a World Power for a while, and now we have left the European Union our economy will no longer support what used to be jokingly called "foreign adventures" or something similar.
Our Navy is depleted, we have an Army somewhat diminished and struggling to recruit, though we have respected and even feared Special Forces, the SAS etc, our Air Force is not too bad.
So yes, the U.K is no longer a World Power. And of course, the J W Org's explanation of what they call Bible prophecies always was laughable, and now makes no sense.
Expect " new light" to accommodate new events and changes in the Political World, but things change so fast that the org is firing at a moving target, by the time their "new light" is published, things will have moved on.

The "dual world power" thing actually made a certain sense in the immediate post-war era, but that was a long, long time ago.

In the green book "Your Will Be Done On Earth" the king of the north was not just Russia alone ,it was the U.S.S.R. The Union Of Soviet Socialist Republics , that included countries under the control of Russia.
Russia today is not the power it was when it dominated the U.S.S.R.
Now today they are suggesting that a weakened Russia is still the king of the North?
I just shake my head now and wonder what stupidity are they going to come up with next ?
