This UK newspaper carried a most interesting article about Sir Isaac Newton.
Apparently, as well as science, Newton was interested in calculating the second coming of Jesus and the end of the world, which he reckoned would happen in 2060.

I think Newton wrote more about theology than science. He had some far out beliefs.
WT has speculated in the past that Newton was a member of the 144,000 so I guess there's no harm in borrowing that date in a couple decades when it'll be needed.
