  The part last week about entertainment actually was not too over the top especially considering it was chaired by Tony. But I noticed he mentioned the present songs used as being sacred music. I call them sales ditties

  Related: the video of making new music; one person works on lyrics while someone else works on a tune ??? And not even in same countries. On an assigned subject. And then it is translated Into 100 languages? So much for rhyme, meter and poetic content. They never use any poetic tricks like reversing word orders and heaven forbid finding any thee, thou or king jamesy sounding words. And then they wonder why even full in ones are not enthusiastic about singing

  There are a couple that I really like, and they're composed very well in my opinion. But I won't say because I might out myself.

  Having been exposed to jw kingdom songs for 63 years and having a trained musical background, every time the song book was "improved" favorite songs of many children of my time were eliminated, a few new ones added. Then they dropped the four line compositions, and went to 2 lines, although the harmony line was not supposed to be sung, even when indicated in the lyrics. Then more songs that were decent in that current book were dropped, recordings were to be used not live music, piano music unless in an approved WTS setting. Few jws could read music or sing and none ever sung except at the meetings. The current book took good tunes and changed them to new and tried to make the old lyrics fit. Calling these songs now except for a very, very few is a musical sin. It is no wonder that singing at the KH mirrors the bible understanding of jws today. Dumb and dumber.

  Dont admit or tell you still think any of them are enjoyable. Those are the next they will change or eliminate🤔

  I noticed that the very unique songs didn't make the cut for the new song book. I hated to see them go.

  Edit: Is that Splane "conducting"? He needs to sit his punk ass down somewhere. He looks like a fool. I doubt if he's done any real conducting in his life. He's serving absolutely no purpose. I'm pretty sure they can sing that crap without him.

  2nd Edit: I'm PIMO, but I promise that I'll reach out and become a helper to the Governing Body for a chance to bang marry that sister with the pink necklace.

  7th Edit: I'll leave the other two and the "Golden Girls" looking sister for Splane.

  8th Edit: Okay I want all those sisters, but pink necklace girl is my favorite.

  9th Edit: I just realized that I still have to overcome a lot of brainwashing. If I want the best chance at being able to make sweet sweet love to marry pink necklace girl, I could just claim that I'm anointed and reach out to become an actual Governing Body member. Shame on me for still thinking that they breathe rarefied air.
