  In other words "Get your ass kicked inspite of promises never realised".

  "Keep getting ass kicked as this is proof of gods love"

  While what does the G(ar) B(age) do, chill out away from all this in their luxurious Bethel Homes.

  Anyway, the first article is titled "Prepare Now For Persecution"

  Actually it should have read "Prepare Now For Prosecution" (more appropriate)

  Para 2 states " we do not need to imagine all the things that could happen to us ,if we did, we could be overwhelmed with fear na danxiety"

  But after saying this they go right ahead and have two study articles on persecution and how to dealwith it..

  Interesting question 7. Why must you be convinced that the promises god makes about his Kingdom will come true?

  My answer to that is 'so that you can count on my (more than I can afford) donations to flow freely for you'.

  Para 17 states "we enjoy gaining the respect of others,..." (we enjoy gaining power over others would have been more appropriate, dont you think).
  

  " Jehovah has not given us authority to make personal decisions for others. " (But we'll go ahead and make personal decisions for others anyway becaus ewe like to walk all over people).

  The article's got all the telltale tropes we know so well. Anybody else see the story where a nameless couple stops working when the government bans Jehovah's Witnesses, and the wife quits a good-paying job to pioneer even though they got a young kid? Then a nameless Elder says that the ban attracted people's attention and so inactive Witnesses came back and got 'reactivated.' What are they, gift cards?

  Does anybody else think that besides Russia the Governing Body fears more governments banning Jehovah's Witnesses for failing to protect the victims of child sex abuse? I might be reading into it but I'm not sure I am. I got that vibe from a mention of governments spreading false stories.

  I don't see how you can stomach reading that crap.

  Whenever I need to read their literature for something I do it in quickly and try and summarize main points in my head. I don't read entire articles unless I'm looking for a specific quote. Just can't take these vermin and their poisonous rhetoric. Just knowing they are deliberately fooling millions is gut wrenching.

  Yes don't imagine what will happen to you - but do imagine it. They want you to be fearful so that you stick with them and hopefully get God's favor so that maybe, just maybe, you'll make it through.
