Sometimes the Org does mention this sort of article and then proceeds to debunk it with all the bad news, mentioning that Christians are not fooled by Satan's deceptions.
except...with the Witnesses it's a case of 'heads I win, tails you lose' because war is a fulfilment of the sign of the end yet peace means the cry of 'peace and security' is nearing.
Either way the end is always 'near'
Wt could also put this in the 'signs in the heavens' category. If a reasonably happy, reasonably prosperous globe attained, the wt dorks would still deny reality somehow.
