The View at Bethel

Mrs Ozzie and I drove around the Australia Bethel area today. Normally quiet, narrow, semi-rural roads were choked by scores of coaches quietly parked along the sides of the roads. Today was the day when thousands of overseas visitors took their tour of Bethel.

On the corner of Zouch Road and Campbelltown Road sat two young Bethel "brothers" under the shade of a large beach umbrella. They were importantly, if not incongruously, checking the arrivals and departures of the visiting vehicles. Of course they were wearing ties! At the side of the road outside Bethel was placed a mobile, illuminated sign advising drivers where to drive into the entrance to Bethel.

It seems the circus of the International Convention is in town! How the borg must delight in the prospect of filling the Olympic Stadium this week! You can just imagine how often the talks will include the line:"Truly a "great crowd""!

Who was it who said that "might isn't always right"?

    Ozzie,

I thought that their God 'does not dwell in handmade Temples'! Still, I suppose that he must be to busy designing printing presses in Heaven these days than keeping an eye what his 'people' are worshipping.

    Ozzie,

Who was it who said that "might isn't always right"?

I believe that was a line that was uttered by King Arthur............discussing setting up the round table...........if I'm wrong, someone please correct me............personally, I wish YOU'D host a convention............then we could call it OZZFEST!!!
