Consolidating of Circuits Coming?

I heard a Local Needs item last night which is not only adding different congregations to a different Circuit, (to balance the numbers attending) but also moving ALL of the congs in that Circuit from a relatively nearby RENTED venue to an Assembly Hall more than 4 TIMES the distance away!

How loving of the Glorious Ones! What a blessing they are giving to the flock!

No doubt the ASS HALLS will 'incur' more costs than the rented property does.

Are other Circuits which are in a similar situation going to be "consolidated" and re-directed to maximize the usage and cash-raising potential of existing ASS HALLS?

I dont know where you are located but in my area we already have a brand spanking new assembly hall, paid for in full by loving donations that costs us 10k per one day assembly. The scam is really taking off. Now with no more two day assemblys they shoe horn more programs per year into the same building and make more money. It dosent supprise me at all that they are doing everything they can to get congregations out of rented facitilies, even if that means a four hour drive twice a year. It shows the value is not and never has been whats best for the comgregations, only whats good for the bottom line of the branch.

It makes sense for them to do that. Drop the rented hall and use the hall that is fully owned. Too bad for those that live further away but I'm sure it balances out as a boom for those that live closer to it.

Look at the number of unused the a halls have now under the 1 day CA plan. It opens op more money for the borg. They don't care about the burden it adds to the sheeple!!!!!

My hope is all of these changes have folks wondering and questioning. Why all the cut backs when the GB is always preaching about our amazing growth! Why do paid off Assembly Halls cost more per day then renting a place?

Of course if you are just the rank and file, you can only ask these questions to yourself. Don't you dare ask these questions out loud to other dubs. You will be marked as a trouble maker.

The ONLY thing you need to do? Vote with your wallet! STOP making donations at every level. Local Kingdom hall funds, World wide work fund, Kingdom Hall Building Funds and No More Circuit Assembly donations.

If you are fading and still stuck having to attend the meetings and assembly's. When the accounts reports are given ONLY you will know that NOT one penny came from you! I can tell you personally...It is a wonderful feeling!

That is exactly what I did, long before I even began my fade. The abuse of donations and how the R&F are so taken for granted simply appalled me.

Don't donate anything. If they make you waste time and gas driving half the state away, don't go at all. You are wasting funds that should be used instead for preparing for the coming financial disaster--when that dollar becomes toilet paper, what will do you good? Having donated (twice, once for the Worldwide Damnation Fund and once for the circuit funds), or three nice shiny silver Eagles? Is it better to waste the funds filling up your gas tank to go to these stupid things, or to have 10 or 12 nice shiny silver quarters when that dollar becomes toilet paper?

Just think of the opportunity costs you are being put through before donating.
