Preferably a mini, but a standard would be fine too. Finding these dogs here in the US is hard.

Years ago I found a lost bull terrier. Stayed with me for about 2 years and hit the road again. (He was always leaving to check out the neighborhood). Great dog with a wonderful personality, but hated most other dogs.... I think he might have been used for fighting before. There seemed to be more plentiful 10 years ago. I think the pit bull scare has 'thinned out the herd'.

watch the paper for a dog show. Check the listings for the breed you want, then go ask around. Best way to find unusual breeds. Be prepared to slap down about 2gs though.

The pups with pedigree papers are around £300 ($500) here. Would it be possible to transport one from a UK breeder to the US? That would work out a lot cheaper, depending on the quarinteen regulations.
