In order to stem the inrush of e-mail and personal messages wanting to know where I've been (and thanks to the two of you who noticed) I chose to take a break off of the board while I was busier than a one-armed paperhanger.
Since Thanksgiving, I've been on two business trips, bought my first house (get the keys on Tuesday) prepared to move (packing, utilities, etc.), won our first indoor soccer game with me as goalkeeper (5-4, whew!), built a demo/show car for a client for the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show (hey, every car should have DVD-driven Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound! RIght?), lost 10 pounds on my diet (South Beach), and volunteered for a project all weekend with friends. In short, I have had a great, fulfilling two weeks, with almost no thought having been given to the WTS or my former religion. How peaceful!
I want to wish everyone peace, love, and compassion - towards yourselves first and towards others as well. Go out and contribute the greatness within you to the world. Every one of you has the power to make this ball of dirt a better place than it is right now, and god knows (at least I hope she does0 that we need every person we can get. Take risks, be silly, have fun - things will work out. May you all find the happiness you are looking for, and that you richly deserve.
