I understand that a Chicago museum holds the supposed skin of the serpent that tempted Eve.

The story goes that Adam slain the serpent and keep the skin,Noah took the skin in2 the Ark.

Certain DNA sequences may B very ancienct.

A certain Beta-globolin(sp?) arose 230,000 years ago in Asia.

I have the fork that Jesus used at the last supper, and the toilet paper that Balaam used to wipe his ass. I can send it to you for examination if you like.

Everybody knows that Adam's story happened only 6,000 years ago!! That snake skin must be from another ancient story.

I would be interested in knowing exactly which museum in Chicago has this skin. Working and living in the area, I've been to just about all of them, and have never seen this anywhere. Of course, this might be an urban legend, similar to the one which claims that NASA found "proof" that the Earth once stopped turning. Sure they did. Here is something to think about: If a museum DID have an ancient snake skin, how would they know it was from the serpent in Eden?

    LMAO!

And they can back this up because the dna of the snake matches the dna of satan!

    badboy; I realise that you don't 'believe' this story in the way some more crdulous people might belive in, oh, I don't know, say Amway for instance; but find it interesting as an illustartion of a/b thought processes;

I understand that a Chicago museum holds the supposed skin of the serpent that tempted Eve.

a: Fascinating! I'd love to see that!

b: Oh yeah? And the golden fleece?

The story goes that Adam slain the serpent and keep the skin,Noah took the skin in2 the Ark.

a: Well, that makes sense. Adam->Noah->Shem->Pitt Museum

b: And Perseus unwound the ball of string as he went in to the labyrinth so he would be able to get back after he had killed the Minotaur.

Certain DNA sequences may B very ancienct.

    a: Really? Interesting?

b: Doh! Yeah, certain DNA sequences may date from ameobas hundred of millions of years ago. Yes. And. So. What.

A certain Beta-globolin(sp?) arose 230,000 years ago in Asia.

    a: AH!

b: Which ones, in which species?

It seems to me belief is like falling down stairs. Some people have a sense of balance (asking the right questions), and avoid toppling over (realising they don;t get the right answers). Some people have no sense of balance and fall all the way down to the bottom of the stair where they wait for asshole projection and Nessie...

Good luck to the human race in 2004; it needs it.
