It snowed last night, just a few inches, but it sure is pretty. I just looked out the window and it is snowing again. I love it when it is snowing and I can stay inside.

Right you are, Mulan; no better feeling in the world than when a snowfall keeps you inside near hearth and home... cozy, cozy! On the contrary, I used to detest it when my work compelled me to dig my way out to the street clean off the car and go to work, or (gak!) go out in service! Such was my naive compulsion in my youth, that nothing short of a blizzard would deter me from knocking on doors; in retrospect, it's hard to believe it was the same person.

Oh man, that made me remember a day when I was pioneering. The other cong. that met at our KH had the CO, (a temporary actually) and not many turned out for service because of a huge snowstorm. The CO's wife was left with one pioneer sister to work with, so that sister called me to get me to come along. I wasn't going because my street is surrounded by hills and I don't drive real well in snow and ice. She said they would come for me if I could walk to the corner, easiest for them to meet me. So I pulled on my boots and met them. They had found one other poor soul, like me, to come too. We actually had a very fun morning, wasting time and stopping for two breaks.
That CO's wife is now at Bethel with her husband, who is now a Governing Body member. Guy and Penny Pierce.

Wow!..Well it's almost 65 degrees here..very sunny and warm..(St Louis, Mo.)
My daughter and her family went to times square yesterday..they should be ther sometime today.Haven't heard what their weather is like yet.
I get to babysit their animals...
So I will be spending my New Years with them!...
I love snow too. Now that I am retired..I don't have to worry about traveling in it. So I can just enjoy it..

No snow in my area of Nova Scotia yet...
and my kids are getting antsy about it..
Last year they were coasting by Nov 8th and we played in the snow all winter....
Instead of snow... we had HEAVY RAIN on Dec 25.....
all I can say is .. good driving weather...
