Well, it's finally over....
The funeral went well, except for dad who has phenmonia and is not well, so it kinda sucks to be ill during a funeral but he was there nonetheless, Aunt Barabra was very worried when he coughs and his breathing seemed ragged somewhat. She's gonna make sure he sees a doctor real soon.
The Pastor presiding the funeral was the same Pastor who resided my grandfather's (Banko Roy) funeral 22 1/2 years ago. Geez, where did all that time go? I have a feeling he might reside my dad's funeral since he's not been too good in health as of late.
I just found out about a joke that dad had with Banko that ever since she nearly got electricuted to death at the phone operator booth in her teens, he said the reason why Banko had lived this long was because she was always "charged up"!
It's been the hardest day knowing that this is the last day we'll ever see Banko and it'll be a long time coming before we each ever see her again.
It had been an honor to pallbear for her and laid her to her final resting place. We each took a flower that was laid on her coffin and I put mine into my mom's flower pot just a few tombstones from Banko's left side. I said hello to my mom and stated that she's not alone now since her "mother" as she called her is keeping her company. They had always enjoyed each other's company. They loved shopping and chatting together. My mother passed away Nov 28, 1993.
After we laid her to rest and left. We went to a nearby church to have a meal and chatted about the good times and memories about Banko. I watched the little children played together at the playset at the corner of the dining room and wondered how much they really knew and understood about Banko and I was sad that they may really never truely know Banko for who she truely was and not some vague memory of her.
I noticed that there's some entries on Banko's online guestbook and thought you'd might like to read it....

I'll email my sister and Aunt to make sure that they also see it, if they haven't.
Here's also one obit from the local newspaper where I used to live (Noblesville, IN)...

This is gonna be a long and hard day and prolly the same tomorrow as well. I got the day off tomorrow to rest and get my energy back before I return to work Monday.
Thanks again for all of your kind words!
