Great to see an obviously polished, mainstream cartoonist has recently come up with a clever and funny piece about the futility of waiting for the Wathtower's ever-imminent end of the world.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if he/she could extend this work into a regular strip. With all the many ex-Witnesses and presently disgruntled publishers, and indeed, the millions of soon to be angry TV viewers who will watch the upcoming DATELINE segment on WT pedos and the great Brooklyn cover-up, I'm sure these cartoons would develop a sizeable cult following. Might even end up in the Washington Post as the new century's DOONESBURY, which enjoyed syndication in many places on the planet for decades.
Got any ideas for a title, Farkel, or others quick minds out there?
My suggestions are not all that hot, but would be something like ...
Waiting On Forever
or
Sensitive New Light Hippies

Uh, I ever-so-slightly modified the cartoon by changing the date from 1984 to 1975. It wasn't originally about dubs at all.
It just looked too good to resist changing it to fit dubs, though.
