I called the elder tonight and told him that there is no adultery and that should they harrass me any more or take any action that may jeopardise my relationship with my daughters now, or in the future, that I would sue him and the members of the committee. I had to say it three times, as he kept saying that they would meet regardless and make a decision, so I told him again, and again. I said that after all this time with me not interfering with the witnesses, with no one viewing me as a witness he could just walk away, as I have seen happen often in the past. Just leave me alone as I have left them alone. I think that after the third time saying it he believed me, especially when I told him on the advice of my attorney I will not be attending (note to self: get an attorney).

Anyway I hope this will end it. We will see.

I know it has been discussed here many times that there isn't alot you can do if they decide to disfellowship or disassociate you, but couldn't you argue that they don't take action against everyone and they are discriminating against you. I know quite a few people that have left without any repercussions...how can they legally "pick and choose" who they want to disfellowship.

Has this ever been argued this in a court of law?

I tried that Atlantic, I had not been to a meeing in over 4 years, Had moved over 300 miles away from that congregation, and nobody knew me as a JW, they (The elders) called me and said I had to be at the JC meeting on that saturday, and I told them all of the above, and said I would not be attending (actually in the end I told them to shove that meeting up their asses). If they really wanted me there, I could, if they paid my hotel room and expenses (that didn't fly LOL) so they met without me and DF'd me anyway.

Remember that Elders one on one are cowards, collectively they are a mob! If you talked on the phone with this clown he had, A) another brother listening in, or B) a recording devise. They are real brave when you are not dealing with them in person. It is my feeling they will DF you. Sorry, Maverick

thx, I took a long break, from posting and researching, after last summers vacation, so I'm just getting back into the mood, I'll be posting more as time goes on.
