The Only Real Power You Have Is Personal Boycott!

Each person counts with their personal vote.

You might complain about a restaurant or a car dealership or about something else. When you didn't get what you paid for.

But in the end your only real power besides telling others is not going to that restaurant or using that mechanic again.

Yes, you can boycott them and walk away as simple as that.

However this is easily said but not necessary easily done as we all know here.

The enmeshment of a religion, of this religion makes things far more difficult.

There are over lapping generations of brain washed followers. With all the enmeshment of children and parents and the only friends we have ever known, makes this anything but easy.

So really the analogy that was used earlier in a different thread of the Nazis guard at the concentration camp making the choice of "just walking away" I think is a poor one.

You have been indoctrinated as a small child. All your friends and family are Nazis. It is the only world you have ever known.

So yes you could say no more and walk away from the death camps. You would be shot on the spot and you would be in disgrace with friends and family.

Was this possible? Sure. Did it happened much? No. Will those guards be judged for their actions? Yes. What will their excuses be? We had orders.

At Nuremberg the victors said this was not enough. Really? Well, the allied flyers with orders had no problem fire bombing the city Dresden just a few before the war was over. A city that had no military presents. There were over 100,000 civilian casualties. They had orders.

What If a miracle happened and the Watchtower Bible and Truck Society fell apart over night. There would be thousands of people who had shunned their children, some of whom to the point where they even committed suicide. What if they were asked the question of why did that? What would their answer be?

We were under orders? Of course they they were under orders. Did they have a choice? Sure they did.

However, but for the grace of god there goes all of us.

I say this as someone who has both been the prisoner and the guard.

We will condemn ourselves afterwards, more than any court of law will. This will happen to the parents who were able to turn their backs on their own children for the sake of a religion or an ideology.

Casting your vote and personal boycott could be the right and contagious thing to do.

It will not always happen that way.

For this is a complicated mess indeed.

I feel for the prisoners and guards. On the other hand I hate the system that made them both.

o yes you could say no more 98thand walk away from the death camps. You would be shot on the spot and you would be in disgrace with friends and family.

Just out of interest no one but no one was shot for refusing to work at a Concentration camp. The alternative may have been the Russian front, yes. In fact a camp was seen as a very cushy number, that's why few turned it down. Once there you would be shot for deserting your post, ok, but that would happen anywhere. You could ask to be transferred and that was keine problem.

In a civilized society (huge assumption) the children need to be protected from these cults under any and all circumstances. I realize that breeders have the power/authority and run rough shod re/ their children's minds/bodies and have total freedom from accountability/consequences. Laws need to be enacted protecting children from these deadly religions and their mind power games -- and not just until the age of 18! A child's brain isn't even developed at that age. This JW cult, Scientology, and their kind, are dangerous, destructive and deadly (3 critical Ds) and child protection laws should be implemented -- and not tomorrow. I don't give a care what adults join or believe for their magic fix but the innocent need to be protected against these religions that promote evil for their wealth structure.

The one thing that was left out of that prior discussion you mentioned is the art of WT Coercion.

We don't get to walk away without a price tag attached to that action.......the loss of close JW family members and close JW friends means they get punished too.

Here is the definition of Coercion: sometimes it's good to review the meanings attached to some words.

the practice of persuading someone to do something by using force or threats.
force, compulsion, constraint, duress, oppression, enforcement, harassment, intimidation, threats, arm-twisting, pressure.

Pick any one of most of those meanings and you are going to be experiencing the crime of duress. You can no longer treat your family member or close friend with greetings or hugs or care because it is forbidden by the WTBTS,

It is my opinion that the motivating factor in shunning. ............is criminal duress.

Unfortunately the WTBTS uses the threat of DFing or DAing against those very family members and close friends who would normally be ready to reach out to the person who walks away or has committed an offense even one that was a made up offense by an Elder or two.

In any sane religion people have the freedom from religion and can simply leave. However there is a cluster of so called religions like Scientology, the Amish, the Mormons and the JW's your simply leaving.........walking away ..........must be punished.

outstanding write. looking at the analogy, At least in the camps, none of the guards actually ever "closed any oven doors". The terrible work was done by inmates that hoped, that by willing, "zealous" work, they would prolong their lives, because after all "Arbeit macht frei" . Working could free you. So too, wt inc. has it's inmates perform the dirty work, for free, even snitching on each other, because they are made to believe that not doing so would mean death "soon", and eternally.

In the camps, the capos, a few of the inmates, for a short time actually lived relatively luxurious lives. And in wt, with all the benefit going up the hierarchy, rarely down, the prudent choice is to obey the captors that are wielding authority.

Arbeit macht nicht frei, it is a waste, and enriches, prolongs the existence of the Master race, the wt upper class, the machine
