  The first photo is of the old Towers Hotel. JWs purchased it Jan. 14, 1975 where soon 1,000 Bethelites would live who worked at Watchtower's world headquarters - and that included Joe and me for almost eleven years from 1982 onward. Scroll down after all the old Brooklyn photos to the COMMENTS and there to be watched is the May 28, 2002 DATELINE program that I was part of that revealed JW's hidden problem of child abuse. How clever of a commenter to post that program for people to see some 18 years after it aired.

  We stayed at the Towers Hotel once before the WT purchased it. It was kind of a dive at that time.
