Where did the idea for a judicial committee come from anyway ?
Can you imagine Jesus sitting around with a bunch of men grilling someone; perhaps a young woman about something private or sexual ?
I can just imagine Jesus giving his opinion to the others after - you've got to be kidding me.
Is there no depth of booffoonery that man gets to, or is this just as far as humans have got to so far ?
Jesus is on record as breaking up a judicial meeting of some pharisees w a woman of ill repute. It seems the judiciary all slunk away, leaving only the accused and jesus. He wasn't interested in nitty gritty. They went for a coffee and bagel at simon starbuck's instead. Maybe they got into the nitty gritty later on, after opening some vintage wineskin.
