  These things are true -

  • swindlers target the wealthy
  • people's pride leads them to be foolish
  • people's fear leads them to deny what they "know", and become spiritually effeminate
  • those who don't doubt the truth will speak it
  • and so on............

  The story is of spiritual truth, even though someone invented it, it is known to be true (identified with / "believed").

  So why do people vehemently argue about things like flood data ?

  Without using too many words, I suppose to bend over (one's own mind) when frightened or afraid/anxious about loss - make a wooss of yourself ?

  Feminine being used in lieu of weakness I suppose - probably an insulting use of the 'feminine' word root - I should probably say something like "diminished spiritual integrity"

  Being unaware of our true-being we tend to identify with our beliefs. So, we often argue for details within our beliefs -- because our life is hanging from it.
