I bought some scrapbooking things from Ebay two years ago, and it arrived almost exactly one year later, absolutely covered with postage marks. It had literally been everywhere in this country, and the address was correct. I still don't know why that happened.

It was out first year of sending out Xmas cards, and I must admit, most of what we sent out was fairly non-descript LOL. Next year we'll send out more sparklies and such.
Oh, and we fell prey to that typical Xmas-card malady...waiting till the very last minute ; at least, in your case, there was a reason beyond our control that yours arrived late.
