  The correct calculations for the first appearance of Christ on earth: (seventy weeks, seven weeks, sixty-two weeks, one week) Daniel 9:24,27 (70x7 + 62x1) (490+62=552) [552 YEARS]

  • Temple Rebuilt (March 11, 515 B.C.E.)
  • Messiah cut off (34-33 C.E.)
  • Calculation from 33 C.E. to 518 B.C.E. (552-1=551)(551-33=518)

  Since they weren't using our present-day calendar, where do you come up with those specific dates? And since we now use the Gregorian calendar, how do you reconcil with the 10 'missing" days? (see below)

  "Pope Gregory XIII issued a papal bull, "Inter Gravissimus" on February 24, 1582 that established the Gregorian calendar as the new and official calendar of the Catholic world. Since the Julian calendar had fallen ten days behind over the centuries, Pope Gregory XIII designated that October 4, 1582 would be officially followed by October 15, 1582. The news of the calendar change was disseminated across Europe. Not only would the new calendar be utilized but ten days would be "lost" forever, the new year would now begin on January 1 instead of March 25, and there would be a new method of determining the date of Easter"

  Brownboy thanks for posting that, I hope it will help jw lurkers to see how easy it is to bounce around and get a date that fits with whatever we want it too.

  All you gorra do now is pretend you fortold the events of 9/11 before they actually happened, shouldnt be hard to do. Jws did it with ease re:1914.

  I have a few numbers I'd like to suggest to you. Try the local mental health center, and if that doesn't work call the nearest college and register for a course on critical thinking!
