The "Faithful Slave"?........They're All Dead!

The March 1 Watchtower contains the Society's latest muddled effort to support their self-appointed authority

as the "faithful and discreet" slave. As you might expect, it's loaded with deception ...... and breathtaking circular reasoning.

However, one simple point stands out:

The "Faithful Slave" are all dead.

Since they continue to assert that Jesus appointed a bunch of swell guys in 1919, it follows that these glorious Masters

of Time and Space would now be over a 100 years old.

Basically, all the guys Jesus appointed are dead. Whatever 'wine-and cracker' partakers exist today, aren't appointed

in the Special Way that Distinguishes them from all Other Religions. They weren't there.

The men, who were part of the 1919 events, generally died of old age ...... and as false prophets because they preached

that Armageddon was "soon" - but they never saw it.

And how about the 'evil slave'?

Well, those guys are all dead too. They never got to 'gnash their teeth and weep' at the Great Tribulation because they

died of old age also. Any nasty 'apostates' who bother the Society today AREN'T THE 'EVIL SLAVE' because we weren't

members of the annointed who rebelled in 1919. Are you disappointed? Well, I am! ( see pg.14 caption under picture, "The 'evil slave'

    received no blessings in 1919").

And that breathtaking CIRCULAR REASONING I promised you?

Well, all their AUTHORITY HANGS ON ONE WORD, in Matt 24

    "arrive"

You see, the Society has already admitted that Jesus' "arrival" is at the Great Tribulation, as in the parable of the Sheep and Goats.

But that would mean that THEY AREN'T APPOINTED BY JESUS because he hasn't "arrived" yet!

So, they invent another "arrival" at 1919 ( see pg. 15 "When Does Jesus Come?").

And what evidence do they have for this other "arrival" ? ( GET READY! HERE IT COMES!)

THEIR EXPERIENCES AND INTERPRETIVE AUTHORITY ----- AS THE 'FAITHFUL AND DISCREET" SLAVE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ain't it amazing! When you interpret obscure scriptures correctly, they support the authority you've already assumed!

why aren't these elderly con-artists running for office?

yes metatron: i was reading the march 1 wt since there was a thread on it last week, and since my dad says he don't care what the wt was teaching in 1914-1919. he knows what they teach now. i asked him if he wanted to go over the march 1 wt. since it is what they are teaching now. of course he panicked and hung up the phone. i find it amazing a jw can't stand behind anything they teach , when they have an informed person standing in front of them. just goes to show what kind of ppl they are trying to recruit. john

I loved the box with the explanation about Jesus' coming. Here, I had always thought that Jesus came, was present, and would come again, while still present from the first coming.

Now, I find out that Jesus comes no less than five times, each one in a different "sense". Anytime I see the phrase "in the sense that", I know it is time to brace myself for a load of bullshit.

He comes in so many different "senses" that he must have used up all the sense, because there was certainly none in that article.
