    With this link, you can calculate when the 14th of Nisan will fall on for every year.

    14 Nisan 5764 => Monday 5 April 2004

    14 Nisan 5765 => Saturday 23 April 2005

    14 Nisan 5766 => Wednesday 12 April 2006

    14 Nisan 5767 => Monday 2 April 2007

    14 Nisan 5768 => Saturday 19 April 2008

    JH,

    You are aware, aren't you, that the Governing Body doesn't calculate Nisan 14 in accordance with the modern Jewish methods? That's why the Witness's Nisan 14 varies sometimes.....

    But mostly, I think they really determine it their very own special way JUST TO BE DIFFERENT, and not worldly

    However, this may or may not coincide with the WTS official date for the memorial, right? I am under impression the memorial this year is scheduled for a different date than April 5. Can anyone confirm?

    I remember once it was 1 day before/after the full moon, and I asked why. The elder said it had to be a full moon in Israel...

    Witnesses would say that in ancient Israel, the High Priest in Jerusalem would gaze out in the evening at the proper time of the month, and finally "observe" the new moon, in the case here, that would be the first day of Nisan. So, just a matter of counting till the '14th of that lunar month, remembering that the "day" starts in the evening, at local sundown in Jerusalem.

    I heard that this year's memorial is on April 4th. Is this correct?
