There is no reason to conclude that the publications which God?s visible organization now publishes and distributes amongst the people will be found of use during the thousand years of the kingdom reign, nor that even the Bible will be used during that time. Those publications are for present-day use to inform the people. When Christ Jesus has brought all the ?other sheep? into the fold of God, then some other provision of the Lord will certainly be employed for them.

Yeah, I remember still hearing that idea about 10 years back. Some had speculated that the "Law" led to Christ and the NT was written for his modern day followers, but that too would become obsolete. So in the "new system" we were supposed to receive the "New Scrolls." Things people make up when they're stuck in a car-group with the same 4 people day after day after day....

    hahahaha

We can already throw the New Testament away since it was written for the "anointed," and there are precious few of them around.

On the other hand, why hasn't God provided a new Bible for the "great crowd," since the old one (especially the New Testament) was written for people with a heavenly hope?

Or yet, maybe since we don't have a new Bible, there is not a new hope for Christians, just the heavenly one, and there is no Christian "great crowd" with an earthly hope!

The "great crowd" don't need the NT. They have the Hebrew Scriptures and a mountain of nourishment, prepared lovingly by the FDS, and shoved down their throats weekly. Like naked little chicks peeping in their nest. They better not stray too far from the nest, either, or else they will be bird-food.

So if we are living in the 'spiritual paradise' now, does that mean the scriptures are now obsolete and we now have to ignor them and follow only the 'new scrolls' as published in The Watchtower?

Well, I guess the Bible isn't gonna be totally "out" after all (From Revelation--It's Grand Climax at Hand [1988]):

    *** re chap. 41 p. 300 God?s Day of Judgment?Its Joyful Outcome! ***

But during the resurrection, countless millions of studies, based on the Bible and the new scrolls, will no doubt be conducted.

    Gotta love the new light.
