Does it happen to you? Moments of tedium, tiresome, wearisome, boring, monotonous.Does it sometimes feel like you are chasing after the wind? Do you surf the web to relieve boredom?

Have you ever had a free evening, with no responsiblities or plans? What were your first thoughts? To watch a movie or video or tv program! What if these things were not available to you? How would you survive the famine of entainment? What would you do with yourself? Well, what did our forefathers do with themselves?

Yet, even with this glut of entertainment, boredom sets in.Is God bored? Nothing new is happening since he created things. We get sick, grow old, and die. Each generation does the same things over and over within the parameters of its inventions.

Is anyone sitting on the front porch anymore? Or are we inside with the door shut in solitary activity?

Hey! I better stop, or, I might begin to sound like another poster who ask's so many questions.

Forgive me, I'm just having a moment of tedium.

    Hey blades

I hear you. That sounds like the last 18 years of my life whilst I was married. I was so bored most of the time I cottoned on the things like the internet, video's ganes etc. Now I have ended that situation I still have odd moments of tedium but they are less and less. Today is one of them but that's because I have an inspection tomorrow and I am cleaning up etc. I am resting at the moment having finished doing most of it but its the last few things that are taking the most energy. That's probably becuase I didn't get home till 2.00 am this morning after going to the opening of our fringe festival and seeing a live show about the Berlin caberet which was fantastic and walking for miles! Life gets like that sometimes unless we fill every moment with activity. Sometimes though I wonder about people with lives like that, are they just fililng empty lives so they dont have time to think about things?
