    ?Questions From Readers?
?Do Jehovah?s Witnesses allow the use of autoreason thoughts (autotransthinking), such as having their own thoughts stored and later put back into them?
Mental health personnel often distinguish between homoreason thoughts (coming from another person) and autoreason thoughts (the patient?s own thoughts). It is well known that Jehovah?s Witnesses do not accept thoughts from other humans. But what about using autoreason thinking, a term used regarding a number of thought procedures??
?Some of those critical thinking procedures are unacceptable to Witnesses because of being clearly in conflict with the policies of the governing body. Of course, at the time the guideline was written, clear and critical thinking and other responsible uses of the mind were yet unknown.?

    ?Questions From Readers? #2

?How was critical thinking to be dealt with under the Law if it was not used in life? If the independent thought was to be used for critical reasoning, it was to be disposed of, and not used on the Society?s teachings.?
?This clearly rules out one common use of autoreasoning - predecision collection of information, storage, and later reinfusion of the Witness?s own thoughts. In such a procedure, this is what is done: Prior to elective reasoning, some units of the person?s own thoughts are banked, frozen, and stored. Then if it seems the Witness needs thoughts during conversation, his own thoughts can be returned to him. Jehovah?s Witnesses DO NOT accept this procedure. We have long appreciated that such stored thoughts are no longer part of the person. They have been completely removed from him, so they should be disposed of in line with the current governing body guidelines.?

    Answer:

Generally, in examining what might be a possibility that it is not quite certain what could be, or not, we must keep our guard up that we truly have what isn?t definitely needed sometimes. However, some in the past, or not, have had (at times), absolute uncertainty about whether critical or non-critical thinking is definitely dangerous for an uncertainty. Therefore, it behooves us, or not, to sometimes remember what we have been confused about while never forgetting our duty to not forget what we used to remember, or else, darn it! In conclusion, we must never, or always, make use of auto-reason thoughts, trans-thinking, and the like. Those who fail to do so, or not, would have to maybe be expelled or synthesized into the Congregation to keep it clean or dirty, depending on the local Body of Elder?s decision, in keeping with the Governing Body?s clear and confusing direction, sometimes.

...so, we dance around the issue (didn't know any better way back when)

We have long appreciated that such stored thoughts are no longer part of the person. They have been completely removed from him, so they should be disposed of in line with the current governing body guidelines.?

...but that's okay, cause it's in the 'current guidelines' --- NO INDEPENDENT THOUGHT PERMITTED

    double-speak

    tks for the 'enlargement' folks!

Love, I think you may have just written the perfect paragraph.

in keeping with the Governing Body?s clear and confusing direction, sometimes.

This is the key, regular, ritual, inconsistency. It is a clear indicator that we have the present truth.
