I went see it last night and I can say that I did not come out of the theater being an anti-Semite. As a matter of fact, I thought that the Romans were portrayed as far more brutal and violent than the Jews. Yet I have not heard anyone call it anti-Roman. I remember when I first saw the Ten Commandments. I did not come out of that movie being anti-Egyptian either. If anyone's anti-Semitism is fueled it is because he already was anti-Semitic when he went into the theater. I think that the Jews who see it will think it is, whereas the non-Jews, who are not anti-Semitic will think it is not. It's all in the eyes of the beholder. I came out of the theater thinking that everyone was responsible for Jesus' death.

I should probably start a new topic for this, but I just want to say that I still haven't seen it. I'm not sure when I'll see it, but one thing is sure; just like armageddon, I'm now closer to the day I see it than ever before.
