I was talking with my daughter-in-law (who is a JW) the other day and mentioned how much I was looking forward to watching the Olympics this summer. I could tell by her demeanor that she didn't share my enthusiasm for it. Do JWs have something against the Olympics?......or maybe it was just that she, personally, doesn't care for it. Anyway, I was curious.....

Nan. who would think all those countries getting together and peacefully competing with one another...Funny thing witlesses are...you couldn't actually participate in organized sports, but you sure as hell can sit around after meeting on Sunday and watch a game. For as much as they walk "the good" walk the are inestimably full of crap.

i think they have something against the olympics for 2 reasons. one is national pride for ones country and two, competition between each other to see who's better and whose worse
