  It seems the www.bobdylan.com discsussion forum has been closed by the moderator/Sony.

  Speculations such as this are abounding:

  Lot's of things were happening, vile creatures using many usernames, being banned and coming back under more and more usernames... threats were being made, a certain religious freak even threatened to report bobdylan.com/Sony to the police for letting so much degraded talk go on, etc... ers, you know how to stay in touch with the people you care about.... and visa versa....

  So much for running forums eh!!

  BTW, I invited all the Dylan freaks over to THIS forum, please make them welcome....

  Just kiddin!!!

  I never been there before (I like Dylan but not enough to talk about him that much)...was it that bad or did they just not have enough moderators?

  so far no official announcement has been made, but it seems there have been big problems lately with the mods banning trouble-makers, then the same people creating new login accounts and starting the sh*t all over again.

  Also the "Religion and Politics" section of the board seemed to be where all the trouble was happening...

  The mod there is a really great guy, so either he has decided to throw in the towel or else Sony Music has ordered the closure, possibly after Bob himself having made a call or 2...

  We shall see if any announcements are made tomorrow!

  That's unfortunate, a lotta Dylan fans w/ strong opinions could make for good debate if folks stuck to rules of conduct.

  I guess there are unruly types in any community - a shame they are sometimes allowed to ruin it for everyone else.

  Of course Simon...anyone knows that all moderators are power-hungry bastards who have no life and just love to lord over others on a electronic messageboard .

  Most of the posters have jumped over to the dylanpool board, lets hope they don't wreck that one too.

  And its a real shame that some people just don't how to act.......talk about Idiot Wind!......
