    see http://health.iafrica.com/healthnews/307876.htm

it's about Dr. Fossel and his anti-aging research - he's the guy the Awake has misquoted in the past.

    We'll see.

If they do cure aging, that kind of puts a whole new spin on "this generation" doesn't it...

PS: Wanna bet the so-called "anointed" are first in line to get this treatment? Not so eager to get to heaven after all, huh?

Thanks again, Meta. "and the hits just keep on coming."

I'm at work, but will want to review this site when I get home. I've been reading and implementing Deepak Chopra's theories on aging and am very enthused about it. I forget their titles right now.

    Cheers!

    Pat,

Chopra's book is "Ageless Body, Timeless Mind". I like his idea that we can measure our age in three ways; chronologically (years old), physically (i.e. a fit 50 year old may be in better physical condition than a 20 year old) and mentally (i.e. we may be old chronologically but mentally sharp).

I am not sure about scientists finding a cure for old age. What I think we have to do as aging individuals is keep a positive attitude to life, our personal goals and our relationships.

    Here's another interesting article about anti-aging: http://www.discover.com/issues/mar-04/departments/discover-dialogue/

This may require a password, let me know if I need to post the whole article.

Man, if the society had just been patient they could by now be publishing "new light" showing that "a generation, while it may have been 70 or 80 years in Bible times, has now been expanded to about 120 years by modern science." That would have bought them another 30 years!
