The 2034 Test : Questions and Answes

  Hi all ..I just had to post this in honor of a previous thread.

  A very, very, very, very concerned JW called me this morning !! (My Mom of course)

  No greetings or kindness, questions about my health etc , etc just a single Question was asked ?

  Are you still coming to the Memorial and are you bringing that wife of yours ?

  HAH ! What cheek !

  I told her that NO I wasn't still coming to the "Memboreial" and "That wife" felt the same as I do.

  I said to her : If you can explain to me the reason why I should attend an Organizations meetings that preach trash and whose leadership is not truthfull, then I will come.

  A long pause followed...................She then in a much softer tone asked me what do I mean ?

  I told her that "Once Again" her beloved cult has set a date for the imminent Armaggedon and I asked if she can confirm it.......another long pause...

  She then told me (without me mentioning to her the 2034/Noah/120 yrs life span/1914 etc calculation) that even if Armaggedon didn't come in 2034 ...it will come eventually and even if it doesn't come in our lifetime , then at least we had the "Truth" and were protected from the world??

  I then said to her that she must stop harrasing me and tell the elders and other dubs to stop putting JW trash in my mailbox!..She then said:.."My dear Boy you sound just like an APOSTATE"

  I said : Hello !! is anyone listening...I AM AN APOSTATE"

  So there you have it folks...its official. JW's believe 2034 is the "New Armaggedon Date"

  not all JW's believe in 2034. just the over-zealous JW's who take the Watchtower more seriously than the bible....

  I agree with dusty here. In fact, I would say that very few even believe that wts has predicted 2034 to be when Armagueddon comes. I haven't heard a single thing about the Noah/120 years/1914+120 = 2034 link from anyone. It's too early to determine if the org. is in fact attempting to make predictions, and by saying that they are pushing 2034 to be the date, we are playing into the wts' hands by spreading misinformation (feb 15 WT anyone?). If you want to prove the wts as false prophets, just look at 1975, 1914, 1874 or any other dates where it's clear they've attempted to predict something, and were proven wrong. Personnally, more articles, or parts from the wts making that link would convince me. Only time will tell.

  i've herad of a few people mention it, but they are the over-zealous type of people. matter of fact, one of them pioneered all throughout the 1975 mistake. and when 1975 came and went, he quit pioneering.
