Nice thought Dansk. My Mum was a died in the wool dub , and we have no kids so this is something that has not affected me personally.. But I remember now that my Mother in Law has always said that although she accepts not receiving birthday and Christmas gifts, Mothers day always caused her sadness.. I guess it was the principle of the thing
If it is any comfort to Mothers on this board. I know that my wifes family would like to support the day and please her. It is just the rules of the Society, not a personal slight.

All three of my kids gave me something special and its the first time since leaving JW's that this has happened!
I feel sorry for some this day that have lost contact with their mothers or mothers with their children.
I will be sending a message to my mother today even though she is still 'in' and secretly I know she will love it.

AW , thank's Dansk and all i want is my house cleaned , the dog bombs in the yard cleaned up, the trash out, the laundry done and my meal's cooked and served on my special day. Is that to much?
