I know we have some absolute absurd laws in this country, completely banale, like it's against the law to dance on a Sunday.

I think the seat belt law is pretty daft .They also have laws forbidding women from buying and using vibrators and dildos .

In our old by-laws (which can apparently still be enforced here)
You may not keep chickens in the basement
You may not keep a goat in your front yard or a horse in your back yard

Theres a lot of wacky laws that are technically still in effect although largely uninforced.
