FWIW, with SL drawing in board members from other ligitimate advocate groups to sit on the SL board and Bill sitting on the other advocate groups board as a "Director", I think things are coming along nicely with SL to ensure it stays around for a while. Being involved with other advocates in this walk should help the cause get more attention especially with the advocate groups.
The following is from an SL Email to me.

We are drawing close to the Washington, DC 5K "Stop the silence" walk. We invite all that can to attend and take advantage of the special rates for hotel accommodations that have been arranged. The Harrington Hotel is about two blocks from where the walk begins and should be very easy to help everyone to be together. To look at hotel information check this link,

Well over one thousand people are expected to participate so this will be a big event to be a part of.
We are asking that everyone that wants to walk with silentlambs please contact us as soon as possible to make sure we can all make connections and be together for the event. You can contact us by email at [email protected] or call us at 270-527-5350. Please do so as soon as possible to make sure we do not miss each other for this uplifting event.
