I was kidding my wife about celebrating Easter, she is fixing eggs for the kids to hunt tomorrow. I said,"Didn't you know you are celebrating a pagan ritual? The eggs and rabbits are symbols of fertility. She said,"I believe in fertility, without it everything would die out. I like fertility." I had to laugh at her, you know she is right and I like fertility also.

Good point, isn't it Undecided? And here I have always felt a certain negativity toward Easter and "fertility" - but you're both right, and this one small point has actually helped me with one remaining vestige of you-know-what.

We actually celebrate Ostara (well most of us call it that), it happens at the full moon/change of season in spring from winter. We like the fertility part too, well at least the practicing!!!!
