Don't you know what a generation is? After listening to the WTs explaination I don't think I could explain it anymore.
This is what it used to be:
- The average interval of time between the birth of parents and the birth of their offspring.
This is what they say now:
2. A group of generally contemporaneous individuals regarded as having common cultural or social characteristics and attitudes.
3. Contemporaneous: Originating, existing, or happening during the same period of time.
Go figure.
