it seems that the el paso police wanted to stop me about 4 weeks ago for a busted tail light, i can live with that.
but the fact that my dashboard lights went out at the same time, it would seem that i needed to replace a fuse, and i made the officer aware of that. it was only gonna take 30 seconds. and i was in the process of moving, so it was hard to find my proof of insurance.
"no, that's ok, m'aam, ill take your word for it."
"oh, you're so nice, i'll take care of this ticket asap."
"oh, and there's a chance for you to forgo the court date just show up @ the inspection station at the address on the front."
"oh, ok, thanks a lot, sir, good night, be safe!!"
wrong, very wrong.
it seems that i got a letter a week b4 my court date saying the ticket was illegible and it was mandatory for me to show up not only for a busted taillight, but for lack of insurance. i was pi$$ed. and the address, its not an inspection station, that was the address of the courthouse. duh.
but i'll fix his little red wagon. i had the fuse replaced the same night he stopped me, and i found my insurance in my middle compartment.
this will probably take, oh, like, 2 minutes. what a waste.
