It must be so disheartening for soldiers in the army--the branch of the military that is shouldering most of the work--to learn that many of them will be extended another 3 months instead of leaving this month.
Whatever your political opinion, if you would like to send a message to encourage any military person there is a website which will let servicemen have access to your emails. I'm sure that they will appreciate any kind words.
