I read 'em all - well glance at them all - don't you?

Trouble is I am a bit of a skimmer and suspect that I may sometimes miss out on the big news. The thread about the UN and NGO's was umpteen pages long before I even read it, yet when I did, wow!

I wonder sometimes if we all have our own tub to thump. I zoom onto the DF'ing threads and FDS stuff because this is what interests me most. I don't think I've ever even clicked onto the Vincent thread because it just doesn't appeal to me.

Are you the same? Or do you read everything?

I think anyone would be hard pressed to read everything. I don't bother reading other boards anymore and, too be honest, don't find the JW topics that interesting anymore. I'm sure it just like any other interest that waxes and wanes over time then something will happen that brings it all back to the top of the pile.

    englishman,

You surprise me, for I thought as a FA you would be scouring every topic.

I scan the site via the Active Topics - that way it covers all of the various sections. If I find the title of an interesting thread, or it has been posted by a favourite member, or responded to by such, then I will pay a visit.

I don't think that any of the mods do that. I don't go looking for stuff to rectify, I just deal with what I stumble across.

Sometimes another mod will say Hey! Whadya think about this, or a poster might PM a worry, but most times I cant be arsed to go looking for stuff.

I've been out for almost 32 years now and don't really take any of it that seriously any more.

I must admit though, I do love the social meet-ups side of this board in particular. Oh, and Kent's board too.

    xjw,

I wondered who that was lurking in the shadows. You'll have to stop it or I'll report you. I'm scared to post now. Englishman, can you deal with this madman? (him, not me).

    HI E-Man,

Yep, like you and others, I do not read everything ... I barely read half of what I did a year ago.

I seem to miss out on all the fight threads ... until I learn that someone has been booted ...

I didn't miss out on the UN thing ... I saw it a long time ago, but it didn't seem that big a deal right at first, that is, I thought that maybe it was just another small Watchtower business deal ... it was not until Hawkaw made it clear that the UN verified that Watchtower had committed to the UN mission, goals and principles in the NGO status before it really took hold.

What I feel bad about are good research threads that add to the body of information showing the false teachings and hypocrisy of the Society that seem to go unoticed and with few comments.
