    Hi Folks;

    I just had a phone from Romania - from someone calling themselves True Faith Jehovah's Witnesses. These people accepted the teachings of the Watchtower up to 1962, but then the Watchtower obviously got corrupted in some way.

    Well, I agree to that - even though I personally would say they got corrupted in the 1870es.

    Anyway - these people - it was about 5.000 of them - wanted to have a big convention this summer, and they would like to meet "brothers and sisters" from all over the world.

    I guess I will get some more information about this, and I can post the info when I do get it.

    Just wanted to tell you. After all - it's the season of Conventions :))

    What happened in 1962? Did they just freeze or have they evolved into something else?

    Very interesting... It appears that they didn't like the flip/flop on Romans 13 They believe the "higher powers" are Jehovah & Jesus and that by subjecting themselves to governmental authorities JW's are compromising their faith.

    Is that the same read you get on this group?

    Hi Kent: I have seen posts on these people before. I recall that they are followers of Rutherford, par excellence. It seems that they are JWs caught in a time-warp. - Amazing
